OneTrip

Every week I go shopping with nearly the same list of items that I dutifully tick off, this doesn't just save that list online but allows me to go... what else could I buy... i don't have to think of the possibilities it offers them to me.

I've got about 30+ text files of all my shopping lists for the past months, but when I take something off for one week, because we have I dunno OJ left over, I don't remember the week later that I took something off the last list (do you see ?). So technically I'd have to open all 30 files and workout which things I want, but I know I always need apples (so that's a waste of cognitive load), I could consolidate the items in to one super list and pick from that... that's the joy of what this app offers....

I'd look like a complete knob walking around Walmart holding my iphone ticking things off... I feel like a douche changing tracks on the iPod function in iPhone in public so I might stick to the piece of paper.

And as a colleague astutely pointed out... "yep, sometimes that old methods are the best... and in this case no-one will mug you for a piece of paper."
