Digg lying about when mac world keynote is!

Above you can see digg.com informing me that the Jobsnote is a mere 5 days 19 and a half hours away. However it's not - I'm being robbed of some eight hours. The Keynote is actually 6 days 3 and a half hours away.
I'm in the very centre of the thing we once called Empire, the heart of Britania as my menu bar and language settings can attest to... you see I spell it colour, call it a motorway and watch rubbish tele!
The answer lies in, what is in my opinion, a very elementary mistake,

You see the above Javascript is calculating a count down on a date and time without any context - it's assuming I'm in the same place as the server... I'm not!
As http://www.hunlock.com/blogs/Its_a_Date points out: " One of the most fundamental mistakes people make when working with javascript dates on the web is they forget that the visitor to the site has a fairly good chance of not being in the same timezone as the web server" I think someone has made a "fundamental mistake"
Luckily that website also offers a solution in how to feed the Javascript date parser and not get bitten. I wonder if anyone important enough reads this to have it corrected, otherwise I'll go rushing to my rss feeds to see what St. Steve has offered up and find I'm eight hours early.
