iTunes updates and Quicktime to...

I see in my new feed reader... and lo and behold up pops Software Update...



What does it claim, full screen cover flow... whoopie doo. I really don't see the attraction with cover flow. Now maybe on a large screen iPod I can see the metaphor to flicking through your deck of CDs on that screen.. but against a full fledged iTunes with play lists and superior sorting options (Another thing incidentally to receive an update in this 7.1.5) I just don't ged it.

Speaking of sorting options I believe Apple have messed up the standard behaviours of the datagrid in iTunes library. All manner of weird and wonderful things happen if you click on a column, not just sort ascending and descending like every other app out there with columns but where you click, what word you click what symbol you click. I only found any of this out frantically trying to sort my tracks my album in simply album order... not f'ing Album by Date and other such nonsense.

A TUAW here tries to portray it all in a positive way as is there whim... but trust me many minutes of me huffing and puffing at my iTunes about this only a few weeks ago.

The new Quick time has some Security and bug fixes, wonder if any of them placate that nice chap over at Month apple bugs that weren't even all Apple bugs but effected everyone

Anyway, on with the update... lets see if I can spot a difference.
