Give the money back to the shareholders

I know it seems bad, maybe Michael Dell had the right idea when he said...
"What would I do? I'd shut it down and give the money back to the shareholders," Michael Dell said before a crowd of several thousand IT executives.

Things do indeed look bleak. (Yes I know Dell wasn't the company in question... please don't comment telling me this, I'm being ironic.)
