Complete My Album UK
This hit state side a few hours ago, there were some questions about an international role out.
I just received this e-mail

Looks like it does apply on this side of the pond too. It provides a handy link to "Check Your List of Discounted Albums" which launches iTunes and loads the music store.
Sorted by best selling, it tells me I have 50 Albums available for a discounted price.

I wonder what it judges that against, protected AAC files ? Or my Purchased playlist, because I know I've injected items into the purchased playlist in the past...
What it is interesting to note, this offers only run for a few months. They end here on the 26 June 2007. I can't decide if this offer is all it's cracked up to be. With some pundits saying, you only bought certain tracks because that is all that was decent. In my case only partially true often I buy the single on iTunes because it is cheaper then buy the full album from my local music store.
Others are claiming this is the record industry making Apple run this deal in the hope of pushing up flagging Album sales and that Apple have always supported the single purchase model.
On a quick run round the usual online retailers, I easily found one that was cheaper than the offer iTunes Music Store price and others that came close enough that if you're gonna buy it... you might as well get the whole package old skool bits of plastic too.
