Answer your mobile please. Future of Web Apps Carson Media

I simply must share this anecdote with you. Last night I was sat in my comfy chair, tapping away and chatting to someone on skype. My telephone was across the room living on silent as it does, much to the discombobulation of my boss. Anyway, I'm chatting away on skype and then an e-mail hits my inbox. Now I has growl and mail notify which both report on new messages for me... mail notifier gives a larger view of the message and I was able to read the body.



Yes... indeed my phone was ringing, so I got up and answered it. It amused me for several minutes that indeed that the most efficient way to get to speak to me is to simultaneously e-mail me when ringing my mobile. What kind of world do we live in.

I hope to attend this years US Future of Web Apps Summit again, the location for the conference isn't fixed yet so I can vote on where I, as an attendee last year want it to be. The choices are...
