BBC clearly running their own agenda.
Yesterday I blogged about the whole DRM debacle caused by Steve Jobs' open letter, the BBC's cynical reporting claims that Apples current FairPlay is more restrictive than it is in reality.

Once I gain I reiterate iTunes music DOES NOT REQUIRE an iPod. I for over a year played downloaded iTunes music on my computer, other computers, via airport express devices, on CDs in my car, my father's car. Why does everyone want to make FairPlay seem less fair than the reality... and don't forget you can quite simply get the music off any CD into your iTunes library with only a negligible loss of bits.
