Apple to Windows users... wait to upgrade to Vista.
Here is a story without a decently defined bad guy. Is it Apple being crap at writing software, or Microsoft being rubbish at writing operating systems.
Probably a bit of both. Microsoft has always been brilliant at legacy support. The size of their market share probably made that a necessity. However, first with SP2 for XP and now more recently Vista. They've begun breaking things, virus scanners, hardware drivers and apparently iTunes.
There is probably some portion of blame on both sides. Given that Microsoft allegedly contacted the likes of digg.com to ensure IE7 was compliant with these popular sites, was that just lip service ? Or have both sides just been silly and is there going to be a childish blame game now ?
